Some Kaiser workers hold 1-day strike
About 200 members of the National Union of Healthcare Workers who work for Kaiser Permanente in San Diego participated in a statewide one-day strike Tuesday over stalled contract negotiations. Kaiser has been negotiating since 2010 with the union, which represents mental health therapists, social workers, speech pathologists, audiologists, health educators and dietitians.
